Commissioned Art Pieces Page III The Peppertree This piece is approximately 3' x 4' and was created to fit this niche in the entry. The design sketches based on the Peppertree logo were approved and color choices were made by the owners to compliment the interior. It stands out from the wall 6+ inches in multiple layers mounted at different hights. There are 36 individually created and molded pieces mounted onto three large bases to hang. There are additional individual pieces of dicroic and other glasses added onto the the fused pieces. This is a tactile piece with many textures and different types of glass. It is hot & cool fused, molded, and glued. Entry view towards bar. Entry view towards tables. First hanging at the studio to test the mounting pattern for intstallation. This give a sense of scale. I think the piece needs some art lighting around the edge of the niche focused on the piece to bring out the glass colors. There really isn't much black, it is various golds, purples, reds, ambers, yellows, rainbows of fumed finishes, and various dicroics.
