Commissioned Art Pieces Page IIII Church Globe  This piece was commissioned by a church in California: 7 foot diameter fractured 4 layered globe with scripture verses embossed throughout the 'ocean' currents. We went back and forth a very long time until all parties approved the design sketches and glass samples They were going for a modern minimalist look with brushed steel walls. I have no installed pictures as I have not been out to see it. I sent a full size layout guide and marked where to mount it with water lazer drilled holes for padded brackets. Here is the layout in process to mark for mounting positions.   This is a wall in a collaborative showroom for custom ideas by a group of craftspeople: Close-ups of the glass fish made for the wall: One Fish Two Fish (a rebel going against the crowd) Three Fish This door is also at the Collaborative Showroom for Craftspeople This is a glass insert the brilliant red pomegranates are on stems of fumed gold and fused into fractured layers of fumed gold clears.
