Paul Hathcoat ~ Master Craftsman
My first glass studio - little more than a workbench in spare bedroom - began production in 1973. In 1984 I moved the studio to a two-thousand square foot warehouse and over the next three decades I created thousands of custom stained glass windows, lampshades, plates, bowls, wall hangings and decorative glass objects.
My work was sold to fine hotels, restaurants and private collections around the world. My expertise spans design, stained glass window construction, repair, cold work, etching, sandblasting, glass painting, open face casting, fusing and slumping.
Sadly my glass studio closed in 2015 do to unfair trade practices and the dumping of cheap Chinese glassware on American markets.
Happily, I continue my artistic endeavors with creative writing and painting.
